LPC intro (Chiara Zampolli)
Slide 7: Roderik points out that there will be more ALICE magnet flips than shown on the schedule, namely during the Heavy Ion commissioning period. Silvia confirms that Roderik is correct.
[discussion about the ordering of the ATLAS and CMS LSC]. All agree that it is best that the ATLAS LSC comes before CMS. The schedule will be adapted accordingly.
[discussion about LHC tests performed in ADJUST] this came unexpected, which caused some consternation in the LHCb and ALICE control rooms although all ended well since the RCs were present at the time. Chiara asks that in the future the CCC informs the experiments in advance if an out-of-cycle ADJUST is coming, so that the shift crews can be prepared and handle the situation as efficiently as possible, especially in case detector experts have to come in to put a detector in a safe state. Of course, the hand-shake mechanism ensures that nothing unsafe will happen, but a phone call in advance would be very helpful.
Flavio Pisani [regarding the upcoming MD period]: last year there were some requests for LHCB, and some of the requests were either not possible, or they would require a study to see if this could be done or not. So, it would be nice from the proponents, if they have requests for LHCB, if they can come soon with the list, so that we can say, look, okay, this we can do, this we cannot do.
Chiara Zampolli: Joanna, maybe you can consider this, since you are here. For the MD.
Flavio Pisani: even for the 2-hour test during at the end of the CMS vdM scan, for example. Do you need something special from LHCb? BGI in stable beams is fine, but if there are other requests, in general, if you can come with a list of requests that would be good.
CMS (Filip Moortgat)
[discussion about the needs for emittance scans in IP1/5 during the low-mu run]: it is agreed that there is no need to have more than 1 emittance scan per 24h. Assuming that fills are typically longer than that, one scan at the beginning of every fill is sufficient.
ATLAS (Eric Torrence)
Stephane Fartoukh would like to know from PPS(2) and maybe AFPT to what extent the non-telescopic extension from 60/18 to 50/15 complicates the proton reconstruction as it implies that the migration matrix between IP and PPS changes. Eric Torrenence and Filip Moortgat: to be checked with the experts.
ALICE (Silva Pisano)

LHCb (Flavio Pisani)
[discussion about the lumi scans during the 75b fill during the 1.2 TeV run]: LHCb would like to do a 1D scan of 3 sigma in x and of 3 sigma in y. To be checked exactly with the experts how long this will take. Probably about 30 mins.
Chiara Zampolli: please check, and then we can also check with ATLAS and CMS and we see if it fits.
AOB
None.
